Colin Thatcher was a Canadian politician and businessman who was born on December 10, 1938, and died on May 30, 2019. He was a member of the Saskatchewan Legislative Assembly from 1975 to 1986, representing the Progressive Conservative Party.
Thatcher was best known for his involvement in the murder of his ex-wife, JoAnn Wilson, in 1983. He was convicted of her murder in 1984 and sentenced to life in prison. However, he was released on parole in 1992 after serving just eight years of his sentence.
